Puigserver Lab resolves highly active electron transfer structures of respiratory complexes I:III2 in cold temperatures

Under cold conditions, mitochondrial phospholipids re-structure brown fat respiratory complexes promoting the rotation of CIII2 in CI:III2 assemblies and increasing electron transfer necessary for energy expenditure and maintenance of body temperature.
