Spiegelman Lab postdoc, Amanda Smythers has been named a Dana-Farber Trustee Science Committee Fellow. The award provides 3 years of guaranteed funding for salary and other research expenses. The Trustee Science Committee, consisting of Dana-Farber Board members, is designed to support promising post-doctoral trainees as they progress toward independent scientific careers in academia or industry. Third year fellowship funding is provided by the Garraway Family Fund for Trustee Science Committee Fellowships.
