Department members receive Goldberg Fellowships, Damon Runyon Fellowship Award, and Assistant Professorship

Nao Horio (Liberles Lab) and Valentina Rossio (King Lab) were announced as the the 2021 Goldberg Fellowship awardees. These fellowship awards are supported by the Cell Biology Education and Fellowship Fund, which was created through the generosity of Dr. Fred Goldberg, Professor of Cell Biology, and Dr. Joan Goldberg, a hematologist at BIDMC. Congrats Nao and Valentina!

Former Goldberg Fellow Alison Ringel (Haigis Lab) has recently accepted an Assistant Professor position in the MIT Department of Biology and will also be a Core Member of the Ragon Institute.

Karole D'Orazio (Moazed Lab) just received a Damon Runyon Fellowship Award. She joins an amazing cohort of ongoing Damon Runyon Scholars in the department, including Jonathan Van Vranken (Gygi Lab), Rachel Greenberg and Chuchu Zhang (both from the Liberles Lab), Whitney Johnson(Pellman Lab), and Yuan Gao and Zhejian Ji (both from the Rapoport Lab).
