Steve Liberles was elected to be a Member of the National Academy of Sciences. This prestigious honor is in recognition of a scientist’s "distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.” Candidates must be formally nominated by an Academy member, then discussed extensively, and finally voted upon at the Academy’s annual meeting.
Steve joins fellow Cell Bio NAS faculty members: Spyros Artavanis-Tsakonas, Joan Brugge, Lew Cantley, Wade Harper, Danesh Moazed, Tom Rapoport, Bruce Spiegelman, and the late Fred Goldberg.
