Haigis Lab postdoc receives Lubin Family Foundation Award

Headshot of Annie Hsieh

Annie Hsieh, a postdoc in the Haigis Lab, has been named a 2023 Lubin Scholar.

The Richard K. Lubin Family Foundation continues its longstanding partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by establishing the Lubin Family Foundation Scholar Award — providing enhanced mentoring and financial assistance for four Lubin Scholars annually over a four-year period, with the goal of retaining the brightest physician-scientists in academic medicine as they launch their research careers.

Each Scholar is pursuing cancer-relevant basic or translational laboratory-based research, and has demonstrated the potential to join the next generation of leaders in cancer research. Their mentors are leaders in their respective scientific fields — providing the scholars with guidance, support, and inspiration.

Annie is mentored by Marcia Haigis, Ph.D. and Bernardo Sabatini, M.D. Ph.D
