A huge congratulations to Liberles Lab postdoc, Sara Prescott for being awarded the 2021 Warren Alpert Distinguished Scholars Award! This award recognizes neuroscientists developing a career trajectory in academia, Industry, or governmental science. Sara's research combines physiology, mouse genetics and molecular neuroscience tools to investigate the vagal sensory neurons that underlie airway-to-brain signaling and safeguard respiration, with the long-term goal of providing novel avenues to treat human respiratory diseases.
